Sahaj faced multiple issues within its cloud setup. Dormant AWS accounts and unmanaged resources created security vulnerabilities. Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and load balancers were not used effectively across environments, resulting in resource wastage. The team validated security groups, IAM roles, and load balancers reducing risks from dormant accounts. Development, UAT, and production environments were separated using dedicated VPCs, bringing clarity and control to daily operations. Application performance was enhanced by upgrading to better-performing EC2 instances. Regular backup restoration tests were introduced to improve reliability and recovery.

The transformation delivered measurable outcomes. Sahaj achieved a 20% improvement in application performance with upgraded EC2 instances. Regular backup testing brought 99.9% uptime, cutting downtime dramatically. Automated processes and optimized resource use reduced costs by 15%.
