Time Slot Booking from Arvato Systems is a cloud-based tool for booking time slots. The tool is particularly suitable for companies that want to control and optimise the processes in their yard. The tool offers quick and easy setup and booking of free time slots for scheduling at the ramps in order to avoid expensive idle times for suppliers.

From a yard manager's perspective, the tool comprises the following activities and service content: Configuration of docks, configuration of the time slot booking calendar and monitoring of time slot bookings.

From the perspective of the booking supplier/forwarder, the tool comprises the following activity steps and service content: Registration & authentication by providing shipment details, displaying available time slots based on the information provided, selecting the time slot, providing driver-related data, receiving an order confirmation and identification code and (if applicable) link for login portal at check-in.

The tool improves deadline compliance by booking time slots and tracking them, and reduces lorry standing and waiting times and standing fees. It also optimises the organisation of yard and storage processes.

When the delivery is created in the system (added via an interface or manually), the suppliers automatically receive an e-mail with a link via the application. They can use this to log in to the browser with a one-time password and book the time slot via a booking mask.

Contingents for booking time slots can be configured easily and intuitively via the user interface in the application.

In the settings, a period can be defined within the delivery date specified by the supplier in which a time slot booking is possible.

Yes, that is possible.

Up to a certain period of time, it is possible for the supplier to postpone the time slot. If changes are made at short notice or if the time slot has to be cancelled, the yard manager is contacted. As the master, the yard manager can cancel or postpone the time slot.
