Chat by Storyboard is the first hands and eyes-free communication tool that allows you to transition all conversations with drivers from cell phones to the ELD. 

You’ll minimize distracted driving by empowering your drivers to use simple voice commands to speak with dispatch, payroll, safety, or maintenance teams. Drivers no longer need to waste time pulling over to ask a question, respond to your team, or flag an issue.

Chat also instantly transcribes and translates every voice message for improved accessibility when your team members might understand another language like Mexican Spanish better.

By moving all your team’s conversations to Chat you can monitor response times to drivers, quickly pinpoint dispatcher/driver issues, and easily review the daily challenges your drivers face, like route issues, pay concerns, or not enough time at home.

Typically it takes 2 weeks for a carrier to get started though we have had folks complete this process in as little as a day. Once we have a user list, we set everyone up in the backend, complete a test with you on your tablet, share onboarding instructions for you to share with your drivers & dispatchers and then support them as they get started.

Our app works on Android and iOS devices that are using one of the recent operating systems. For example on Android, our app works on Android 11, 12, 13 & 14. Additionally we have relationships with the teams at Isaac Instruments, Trimble, Platform Science and Samsara. We are happy to speak with you specifically about your ELDs.

We support translation for over 50 languages. After a transcript is generated, we immediately translate the text across the languages a carrier chooses and then we generate the audio in that language. This process takes less than a minute with drivers and dispatchers not noticing any delay in their day to day conversations.
